Kelly Stephens was born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

She began her dancing career at the young age of three for the Doherty Academy in Coventry, where she later went on to dance for the Carey Academy. Throughout her many years of dancing Kelly won numerous titles including the British National, All Ireland, American National, Great Britain and Midland Regional Qualifier.

In 2002 at age 16, Kelly achieved the title of Girls under 16 World Champion, which she then went on to win again in 2003 and 2005. In 2007 Kelly had the opportunity to start her touring career by joining the cast of Riverdance, where she spent the following few years touring the UK, China, Japan and all over Europe.

In 2010 Kelly joined the Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance. She had the pleasure of touring all over the world and being part of one of the company’s biggest production Feet of Flames.
